This option is safe as stage 1, however, engine parts have to be up-rated to cope with the extra request of performance made
in the stage 2 tuning. There is no set route to stage 2 as each car (engine code) is different and will require different parts to achieve stage 2 status. There are
different levels of stage 2. The definition of stage 2 is a software and hardware enhancement that work in harmony with each other so the software isn't requesting
tolerances beyond the hardware capabilities. There are no set gain figures for stage 2 as there is no set standard. Any modifications made need to be dyno tested to see
what gains it achieved.
For example a BMW 330D Stage 2 could just be DPF Delete with Larger Intercooler which would produce xxx BHP. Same car with
Stage 2, DPF Delete, Larger Intercooler, Air Filter Upgrade and Hybrid Turbo would produce even more BHP. This is why we can't give set gains figures as different
stage 2 packages will give different gains. Even the brand / model of the parts used can change the expected gains.
